Recruitment
We provide our services using a mix of full and part-time employees and volunteers and encourage anyone wishing to volunteer or seeking employment to submit an application.
Minimum employment requirements for EMTs are a current New York State Certification as a EMT or Paramedic, good standing in the North Country EMS Program Agency (or other New York State Region), and a valid driver license. Drivers must have a valid driver license.
Volunteers do not need to meet the EMT Certification requirements initially, but must be interested obtaining certification and do so within a reasonable time.
